Sumail Central Prison of Oman, (Capacity 5,000 inmates), is the most automated high-security modern prison in the region.
4,200 detention stell door and window sets, all tested and certified in the USA as being grade 1 & 3 detention high security (ASTM F1450 & F1592 standards), bullet resistant to UL 752 and fire rated.
The project was designed by DMJM - AECOM of USA, the leading US Government approved consultant with more than 60 years history and 35,000 employees world wide. The main contractor was Galfar Engineering & Contracting.
